The Marian Movement of Priest Prayer Cenacle

posted Jan 11, 2017, 9:57 AM by Cheryl Bowen   [ updated Mar 23, 2017, 1:45 PM ]

Our Blessed Mother calls us to share in her  co-redemptive mission of assisting her in bringing to salvation all of our brothers and sisters.  As a tool to   accomplish this, Our Lady asks us to form Cenacles of prayer and to consecrate ourselves to her Immaculate Heart.

We meet on Monday mornings in the Chapel at 9:00am. Please come by to learn more about our MMP Cenacle which is worldwide and encouraged by both St. John Paul II and Pope Benedict.   God Bless You!

Interested in Becoming a Catholic?

posted Aug 28, 2014, 1:47 PM by Cheryl Bowen

Every year, we offer the opportunity for those who are interested to learn more about the Catholic faith.  From September through April we invite adults who have not been baptized and would like to be, as well as for Christians of other denominations who would like to be received into the Roman Catholic Church, and for baptized Catholics who have not yet  received the Eucharist, Reconciliation or Confirmation.  This is known as RCIA which stands for The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults.  If you are interested or need more information please contact Deacon Bill Whitehead by calling the Parish Office at 847-426-2217.

Elizabeth Ministry

posted Aug 28, 2014, 1:37 PM by Cheryl Bowen

This ministry is blessed by our Mother Mary with Elizabeth as an outreach to gather together and bring comfort and support to those in need in the following areas:  Women who are pregnant, mothers of newborns, those going through a difficult pregnancy, celebrations of birth, women having  experienced miscarriage, infant or child death, infertility, adoption, support for grandparents, or someone to sit and share time with in these areas.  We in the Elizabeth Ministry are here for you.

Also, we need volunteers, please prayerfully consider volunteering in this important ministry as we reach out to other women of our faith community here at St. Catherine's and St Mary's.  If you need support or can volunteer  please contact Debbie Sakowski at dsakowski228@gmail.com.
